YIB shortlisted for final of TARGET jobs Management UG of the year

One of Royal Holloway's 2nd year Management Year in Business students, Alvaro Ferreira, was shortlisted for the final of The TARGETjobs Management Undergraduate of the Year Award 2017 in partnership with Enterprise rent-a-car .

The awards were first launched seven years ago, and now feature 12 prestigious awards. The 2017 competition was entered by more than 3500 students from over 130 different universities. Alvaro put himself forward for this award, was shortlisted and then attended the final on 21st April.

Although Alvaro did not win it was an amazing achievement to get through so far with such strong competition from other universities.

Alvaro said that he thoroughly enjoyed the experience of attending the final and the networking opportunities it offered.
"Had a fantastic experience being part of the Top 10 Management Undergrad of the Year - well done to Kirsten Alexander-McGarry and everyone at Enterprise Rent-A-Car and TARGETjobs for a great afternoon."

Alvaro was one of the first 2nd year students at Royal Holloway this year to secure a placement : he starts his placement with Ascot Wealth Management in June. Additionally Alvaro has actively promoted the Year in Business programme at Royal Holloway and has been President of the College’s Enactus Society.  http://yearinbusiness.blogspot.co.uk/2016/11/the-enactus-conference-benefits-of.html
